Tom Smokoff, Founder & CEO
Tom Smokoff founded Water Pure Technologies as a research scientist with a single focus: solving point-of-use water treatment through proven science rather than guesswork. Over more than two decades, his work has driven real innovation in how water is filtered and treated at the molecular level. He has worked directly with federal, state, and international water-quality codes, and carried that expertise into humanitarian programs around the world. In those programs, reliable filtration is often the difference between safe water and none at all. His vision still guides every product we build: performance you can measure, engineered to last, and made in America.

Craig Fairclough, President
As President, Craig Fairclough brings decades of hard-won operating experience to Water Pure Technologies. He spent 18 years as an area sales manager with Colgate before building a multi-million-dollar company serving the emergency-preparedness industry. In more than twenty years preparing families and communities for the unexpected, he learned that clean water is the single most important resource in any emergency. That lesson is why he has devoted his work to putting dependable filtration into the hands of the people who need it most, at home and in the field.

Every Water Pure system is engineered, assembled, and tested in the United States, with American-made filters and membranes at its core. We build with select components from trusted partners around the world, then hold the finished product to a single, uncompromising standard in our own facility. Our media is BPA-free and lead-free, and our nanofiber technology is designed to reduce the sub-micron contaminants that ordinary pore-size filters cannot capture. From countertop units to whole-house and industrial systems, this is filtration built to perform for domestic, disaster, humanitarian, and industrial use.

When the power goes out and the tap runs dry, our Survivor Series keeps clean water flowing. These gravity-fed systems, filter straws, and filtered bottles need no electricity and no line pressure, so they work anywhere from a mountain trail to a disaster zone. The same electropositive nanofiber media that protects homes goes to work in the field, capturing sub-micron particles while holding a high flow rate and a very low pressure drop.
