Testimonials

As a Public Health Scientist, I have been working with drinking water and swimming pool water sanitation for over 40 years.  I have worked in enforcement of federal, state, tribal, and international water quality codes as well as humanitarian, educational programs, monitoring and laboratory services.  I am continually researching products for a simple, economical and effective treatment of pool and spa waters.  I will not endorse a product until I have used it, monitored it and tested it for these qualities.  I have used and tested H2O Fix for the past 3 years in my personal spa as well as other pools.  I used H2O Fix for over 2 years without adding any form of chlorine to my personal spa and without draining it during that same period.

I found the product to be abundantly superior to any other treatment products I have used while being less expensive, easier to control and still maintain high water quality standards. I took a random sample to an EPA certified lab where it passed the coliform test for drinking water quality.  I also found it to eliminate and control bio-film in a private indoor pool.  The best feature that I have enjoyed is not subjecting my family to the dangers of chlorine.  Though I support the use of chlorine in water supply storage and distribution, I believe in removing the chlorine before drinking or bathing in public water.

The qualities of H2O Fix make maintenance simple.  Since the H2O Fix stays in solution, changes are predictable depending on use and bather load.  Chlorine causes pH bounce requiring the use of other chemicals to constantly adjust the pH for ideal water conditioning.  H2O Fix additives combined with no chlorine requirement solve the pH bounce problem.  I simply add H2O Fix, a water clarifier and an occasional non-chlorine shock combined with regular cleaning of the filter.  I have been able to eliminate most other maintenance requirements.  I will never again use dangerous chemicals or spend excessive time maintaining my spa, and one 8 oz. bottle of H2O Fix lasts me about 9 to 12 months.

Water Testing Performed Using H20 ResQ as a Water Sanitizer

On October 25 and November 2-3, 2011 water tests were performed in two separate rivers to determine the effectiveness of drinking water sanitation using H20 ResQ as a sanitizer.

At the Logan River on October 25, two samples were taken at the exact same location.  One sample was treated with the recommended dosage of H20 ResQ and taken directly to a certified laboratory along with a raw water sample for comparison of bacterial content.  The samples were tested 3 hours after sampling and the results are as follows:

Raw water sample – 579 Total Coliform bacteria, 1 E. coli

Sample treated with H20 ResQ – 31 Total Coliform bacteria, 0 E. coli

These data show an 81% decrease in total bacteria in the first 3 hours as a result of using

the H20 ResQ. No testing was done after the 3 hour period.

On November 2, samples were taken at the Benson Marina of the Bear River in the same manner but the treated sample was held for 24 hours before testing.  The raw sample results were similar to the Logan River testing but the sample treated with H20 ResQ was negative for all bacteria.

These data show that given more time, water treated with H20 ResQ provides a complete kill of bacteria in contaminated water.
